THE VISION

“He called a little child and had him stand among them. And he said: “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. SHAPEUP is a project for God first and foremost! We are called to bring healing and restoration to young people and to release those living in frustration through the use of powerful media mediums & Music.

At SHAPEUP we use Music, Song writing, Graphics, Art, Photography and Web Design to mentor young adults from all background and circumstances, we want to give all the young adults who have never had a chance in life, those who have been outcasts in community or school or college or university. Perhaps you were bullied in school or you were called names that made you hide and retreat within your self. Well then we believe God wants to have your shining moment and so do we.

This is about taking the frustration, pain, angers and those things that have gone wrong in the lives of young people and channelling good out of it. Whether it’s being beaten up, bullied or seeing someone close to you suffer, you are shown how to convert the pain to power. Here at SHAPE UP we show you how you can do something about it by throwing yourself deep into God and turning your anger ,you pain, your everything into something like a song or a canvas or captured moments on a video or within an image, or even mini videos or short films. The possibilities are endless.

This ministry is a simple ministry relying fully on God and the simple Biblical teachings and everyday application of Godly principles. The Lord has been so gracious to us because He left the gift of the Bible with its so many characters and imagery to help us find alternative pathways to abundant living and life in Him.

We want to be able to give young people Group Mentoring as well as One on One mentoring sessions in which we can help them unleash the raw and precious talents that they have inside and enable them to discover who

God really made them to be. We stand behind them and help train them in their chosen area or areas of godly gifts.

We are not ashamed or afraid to go out onto the streets, into very poor places and rough places to minister to young people in crisis. We are willing to get right into the heart of the gutter with the poor people even in poor nations to help them become over-comers. We will seek them out in local venues and cafés everywhere if we must. We are called to let CHANGING BECOMES a weapon of release and restoration in their lives.

This Godly VISION is what we are focused on day in day out!
