THE VISION

Smart Hopewell was diagnosed as being dyslexic at the age of 8. That unfortunately unwisely inspired some of his teachers to label him as a him dummy. He was treated and labelled as HOPELESS. He was taunted in school, bullied, ridiculed and made to feel like an outcast. The way the world dealt with his educational and social challenge made him feel segregated, tormented, withdrawn, disinterested, angry and pushed into a deep depression. Fortunately for him, he never lost sight of the LOVE of God and the importance of CHRIST in His life. He prayerfully and passionately pursued God. By so doing he was able to overcome all the challenges that came his way.

He overcame his dyslexia only to discover that he is a genius that his teachers did not have the skill to address. That led to the birthing of the SHAPE UP MINISTRY where he uses Music, self taught IT skill, Art, Photography, Film and the WORD of God to encourage teenagers and young adults today.

His story will touch you and encourage you. If you have ever been told that you will amount to nothing, his story will inspire you and give you hope.

At just age 21, Smart Hopewell is a youth minister, speaker, musician, youth mentor, a brother and a friend of the downtrodden. His pastoral ministry is overseen by his parents who are pastors. He was born in London, England.

He is passionate about helping children with learning difficulties and thrives on being an encourager.
